Raffle Rules, Terms and Conditions
Applicable to all raffles conducted in the State of New Mexico by the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation
Official Raffle Terms
By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Ticket Details
Tickets include the word “RAFFLE,” drawing date, time, and location, the ticket price, and a list of major prizes.
Prize claim deadline (if applicable) is printed directly on the ticket
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Employees or board members of the Balloon Museum Foundation and their immediate families may be excluded.
Drawing & Winner Selection
Drawings are open to the public.
Rules will be posted at the drawing location.
Winners will be selected by random draw.
Winner Notification
Winners need not be present at the drawing unless otherwise stated.
Winners will be contacted using the information provided on the ticket.
Prize Restrictions
No substitutions or cash equivalents unless explicitly stated.
If a prize exceeds $75,000 in value, the ticket must be submitted to the New Mexico Gaming Control Board before sales begin.
Unclaimed Prizes Policy
Claim Period
All raffle prizes must be claimed within 30 calendar days from the drawing date unless otherwise stated.
Notification Efforts
We will make at least two attempts to notify winners using the contact information provided.
Failure to Claim
If the prize is not claimed, it is forfeited.
If the winner is located but declines the prize, they must provide a signed, dated letter stating this.
Next Steps for Unclaimed Prizes
Unclaimed prizes may be:
Donated to another qualified nonprofit
Offered in a future raffle
Awarded in a second drawing
All actions are recorded and retained in our official raffle records for board and regulatory review.
No Alternatives or Exchanges
Unclaimed prizes may not be exchanged for cash or alternative prizes unless previously disclosed.
