About Garcia’s Kitchen

Garcia’s Kitchen is a local Albuquerque chain of restaurants that serves authentic New Mexican cuisine made from fresh ingredients.  House specialties include: handmade tortillas, biscochitos, carne adovada, menudo, salsa and red and green chile sauces.

 

With his family’s support, Andrew Garcia opened the first restaurant at 4th Street and Mountain Road in 1975.   After 40 years, Garcia’s Kitchen has 7 locations throughout Albuquerque and employs almost 250 people. Andrew’s simple wish was for people to be happy and eat good food. He has left a lasting legacy to Albuquerque and his family. Today his children run the business and keep his dream alive.

Breakfast Burritos
Scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese, and your choice of  choice of bacon, sausage, carne adovada or no-meat.

Burritos will be prepared with a variety of chile:  green, red, & without.

About Chef Weed

Shawn Weed’s culinary career has taken him across the globe with stints in San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Glasgow, and Paris.

 

A successful chef, restaurateur, and hospitality consultant, Shawn moved to New Mexico in 2007 to run multi-million dollar food and beverage operations for universities and casinos.

 

In 2017, he opened his own restaurant concept, The Acre, with a second location to follow in Fall 2021. His company, Salt & Pepper Hospitality, provides expert food and beverage guidance for restaurants, hotels, casinos, and more. He is a former food columnist, award winning chef, and guest chef and speaker.  His passion and enthusiasm for hospitality is grounded in community, mentorship, and servant-leadership.

Starter: Classic Garden Salad with selection of house made dressings

 

Entrees:

Chicken Enchiladas served with Rice, Beans and Tortilla Chips and House Salsa and Sour Cream

 

Italian Bar featuring Tomato Basil Lasagna, served with Roast Vegetables and Garlic Bread

 

Desserts: 

Choice of Green Chile Apple Crumble or Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Cream

Salad:

Autumn Salad of Roasted Corn, Pepper, Chile, and Heirloom tomato over Mixed Baby Greens with a Red Chile Balsamic Dressing

Calabacitas Stuffed Pork Loin, served with Arroz Verde and Local Pinto Beans
(Calabacitas is a traditional medley of yellow squash, zucchini, onions, and corn.)

 

Autumn Harvest Lasagna

Layers of Heirloom Tomato, Pasta, Squash, Peppers, Cheese and Fresh Herbs

Triple Chocolate Mousse with Berry Reduction

Red Chile Chocolate Torte with Grand Marnier Reduction

 

Beer and Wine
Your dinner includes two drinks of choice from a selection of locally crafted beers and wines, provided by Tractor Brewing Company and their partners.

Cash bar available with cocktails from Distilled Spirits. 

BEER, WINE, COCKTAILS

Locally crafted beer, wine, and spirits will be available for purchase at both morning and evening events.

Beer and wine are included at no additional charge in the Topflight Atrium experiences. 2 drinks per person.

 

All drinks are provided by Tractor Brewing, Troubled Minds Distilling, and New Mexico wineries.
