PARKING PASSES AND TRANSPORTATION

Parking Passes

A Parking Pass is required to park at the Balloon Museum during Museum Dining Events.

One Parking Pass is issued for up to three tickets. (Ex. 1-3 tickets receives 1 parking pass, 4-6 tickets receives 2 parking passes, etc.)

PLAN TO HAVE YOUR PARKING PASS AT LEAST 12 HOURS BEFORE YOUR SESSION.

Through Sept. 22 a hard-copy, individualized parking pass will be mailed at no additional charge via USPS first-class mail for orders received.

 
Beginning Sept. 22, passes are available:
  • Will-Call at the Balloon Museum Gift Shoppe (No charge) during these hours:
    • Sept. 22 – Oct. 4, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Oct. 5 – 12, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  •  USPS Priority Shipping ($11.05)
    • Sept. 22 – Oct. 5 Only
    • Allow 5 business days for Priority shipping option
  • Use a Courier Service. Please note that we cannot guarantee service by independent businesses. If you opt to hire them for delivery, you will be hiring them directly, and not through the Balloon Museum.

Lost or Stolen Parking Passes

Lost, forgotten or stolen parking passes cannot be replaced but you may purchase a replacement pass by calling (505) 537-1235 or emailing tickets@balloonmuseum.com

The parking pass is good for the Balloon Museum Lot only. Each parking pass has a map of how to drive to the Balloon Museum Lot. Please follow closely as traffic patterns are specific during Balloon Fiesta season.

Alternative Transportation

Alternative transportation options are highly recommended to help reduce the number of vehicles on the road and congestion heading into and out of Balloon Fiesta Park.

  • The Visit Albuquerque Transportation page offers ideas for other alternatives to get in to Balloon Fiesta Park.
  • Balloon Fiesta Park & Ride is available by calling (505) 881-1000. Ask for a “Bus Only” pass. Note that Park & Ride drop-off is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the museum.
  • Balloon Fiesta Bike Valet is a free service offered by Balloon Fiesta.
  • Ride share and taxi services have a designated drop-off point outside Balloon Fiesta Park. Click here to see Maps & Directions.
  • Note that these alternatives do not deliver you directly to the Balloon Museum. Depending upon the drop-off location, some walking may be involved.
