The Balloon Museum is directly south adjacent to the massive Balloon Fiesta Park and overlooks the entire field.
How do I get to the Balloon Museum?
When you receive a Museum Lot Parking Pass, you are allowed parking in our lot. Stay in the left lane on Alameda approaching Balloon Museum Drive from the West. Stay in the left lane again on Balloon Museum Drive and show the parking attendants your pass. You should then be directed to our parking lot. If you do not have a Museum Lot parking pass, use our free Museum Shuttles from the transportation area and be delivered right to our door!
Where do I park?
Museum Lot Parking is on site, differently-abled accessible spaces are available for those with a valid tag, and Museum Lot spaces are just steps away from your Museum experience. If you do not have a Museum Lot parking pass, follow the parking attendant instructions to park in the Fiesta lots. We also recommend the COA Park & Ride which will deliver you to the transportation area where you can then catch our Free Shuttle to the Museum.
How/when do I get my Museum Lot parking pass?
Balloons & Breakfast and Dine & Glow Dinner guests and SkyBox Rental guests will receive the passes you order via USPS Mail. If your order was placed too close to the event you will be instructed to pick up your package at a designated will call location.

The Fiesta is all about fun and frivolity! Be casual and comfortable and if the wind moves you wear your most outrageous balloon hat covered with balloon pins! For the morning we suggest layering your clothes so you can remove them as the cool Albuquerque mornings warm to great the sunny afternoons. Bring a light jacket/coat for evening events if you plan to go down to the field or take a stroll on the grounds of the Balloon Museum under the spectacular night skies blanketed in sparkling stars.
What if it rains or the events on the field are cancelled on the day(s) of my reservation?
The Museum Viewing Events are rain or shine events and no refunds will be given in the case of a cancelation on the field. All amenities will be offered and the Balloon Museum will be opened extended hours regardless of on field activities.
