The mission of the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation is to raise funds, foster public recognition and promote and build membership for the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. To that end, we support the exhibit programs and educational programs of the museum. For example:
- The Flying Bus program pays the transportation and admission costs for students at Title I schools in the Albuquerque Public Schools sytem to visit and tour the Museum and learn the history and science of Lighter Than Air Flight.
- The Stories In The Sky program is the weekly, award winning story time geared to preschoolers but open to all ages. Music, movement and crafts engage children in education and science
- The Science In The Sky program is a quarterly program geared toward elementary and middle schoolers and expands both the Flying Bus and Stories In The Sky programs by promoting planned school tours for special, entertaining educational programs with guest speakers and STEM demonstrations.
Your generous donation helps the Foundation continue to support these educational programs as well as to assist the Museum with costs to keep the exhibits up to date. Please help us support the museum.
